Hope the weather is beautiful where you are reading from because it just turned to the oh so common Vancouver downpour here. On the plus side, I get to be bundled by the fire listening to the rain (I love the sound of rain) and the city of Vancouver will stay lush and green.
Today I thought I would share with you my cute little teacup succulents! I love these guys and they seem very happy up in the windowsill. All it took to bring them to life was…
1) Plants! I chose succulents because I am obsessed with them and they are extremely forgiving if you forget to water them. Though you may want to experiment with a different house plant
2) Teacups. The teacup I used once belonged to my grandma and the other small pot was picked up at a thrift store for 25 cents
3) Drainage. The ideal set up for your plants is to drill a hole through the bottom of the teacup and have a saucer underneath but I put some gravel on the bottom and mixed my potting soil with sand and so far they have been happy
4) Enjoy. The fun part is putting them together and getting to see them on the daily.
I Hope I have inspired you to give it a try! Have a great day!
